What really matters when choosing a snorkel mask

Customer reviews can provide insights into everyday experiences with a snorkel mask, but they are not an objective measure of technical safety. Snorkel masks are complex products whose design, airflow system, and valve technology are difficult for non-experts to evaluate.

In practice, many reviews mainly reflect subjective impressions or moments of frustration. Frequently mentioned criticisms such as “water in the mask” are not automatically indicators of a safety issue, but often have other causes:
