Frequently Asked Questions (Pro Series)

Can I dive with the mask?

Yes. The snorkel automatically seals as soon as it goes underwater, preventing water from entering. How deep you can dive depends on the model: the Seaview Pro Plus allows pressure equalization thanks to its integrated silicone nose, enabling dives down to 8 meters. The Seaview Pro, without pressure equalization, is ideal for relaxed snorkeling down to about 3 meters.

Can I wear glasses?

No. The temples of regular glasses prevent the mask from sealing properly. We offer optical correction lenses with suction cups, available from −6.0 to +6.0 diopters. The lenses attach inside the mask without any tools and fit all Khroom models, including the Seaview Kids.

I'm between S/M and L/XL – which size should I choose?

Your face shape is the deciding factor. For a round or fuller face, we recommend L/XL. For a narrow or slim face, S/M is usually the better choice. If in doubt, our "Perfect fit or money back" guarantee applies – exclusively for orders placed in our shop.

Is the mask suitable for people with beards?

Partially. A 3-day stubble is usually no problem. With a 5-day beard, we recommend trimming it before use. Anything beyond that may compromise the mask's seal.

Is the mask also suitable for children?

The Seaview Pro and Seaview Pro Plus are designed for adults. For children aged 3 to 10, we recommend the Seaview Kids – TÜV-certified according to DIN EN 136 and specifically designed for children's head sizes.

What do I need to do before first use?

The mask is ready to go. Simply adjust the headband to fit your head. Please do not tamper with the valves or remove any components – this could compromise CO₂ safety and the seal.

Is there an action cam mount?

Yes – a mount is included with the Seaview Pro Plus and is compatible with all common models such as GoPro, DJI or Insta360.

Can I do breaststroke with the mask?

No. The mask is designed for relaxed snorkeling at the water surface. It is not suitable for intensive breaststroke swimming with a high breathing rate.

Can I breathe underwater with the mask?

No. The snorkel automatically seals underwater to prevent water from entering. The air inside the mask is not intended for breathing. Full-face snorkel masks are designed exclusively for use at the water surface.
