Ist die Schnorchelmaske für Kinder hinsichtlich CO2 geprüft?

Die Seaview Kids wurde vom TÜV Rheinland nach DIN EN 136 geprüft. Der Prüfbericht dokumentiert unter anderem CO2-bezogene Messungen unter den beschriebenen Testbedingungen. Die Maske ist ausschließlich für ruhiges Schnorcheln an der Wasseroberfläche gedacht und nicht für Apnoe-Tauchen oder intensive körperliche Belastung vorgesehen.

Gibt es Ersatzteile, falls etwas kaputt geht?

Ja. Khroom bietet für das gesamte Sortiment Ersatzteile zum Selbstkostenpreis an. In vielen Fällen ist kein Neukauf erforderlich, da eine Reparatur ausreicht. Das spart Geld und reduziert Abfall.

Can I wear glasses under the mask?

No. The temples of regular glasses prevent the mask from sealing properly. Instead, you can use our optical inserts: simply choose two lenses (left and right), clip them together, place them inside the mask—and you’re ready to go.

Are the optical inserts also compatible with the kids’ mask?

Yes. Our optical inserts are designed to fit both our adult masks and explicitly the kids’ mask—ideal for children who need vision correction while snorkeling.

Easy to install:

The lenses attach to the inside of the mask via suction cups—no tools and no glue required. This turns your Khroom mask into a snorkel mask with optical correction in just seconds.

My diopter isn’t available—what should I do?

Simply choose the next lower diopter value. Underwater, this is usually more than sufficient for clear vision.

Ist die Schnorchelmaske wirklich CO₂ sicher für Kinder?

Kann ich eine Brille unter der Maske tragen?

Nein. Die Bügel einer normalen Brille verhindern, dass die Maske dicht abschließt. Stattdessen kannst du unsere optische Sehhilfe verwenden: Du wählst zwei Linsen (links und rechts), setzt sie zusammen und befestigst sie im Inneren der Maske. Fertig.

Passt die optische Sehhilfe auch für die Kindermaske?

Ja. Unsere optische Sehhilfe ist so konzipiert, dass sie sowohl in unsere Erwachsenenmasken als auch explizit in die Kindermaske passt. Ideal für Kinder, die beim Schnorcheln eine Sehkorrektur benötigen. Die Linsen werden im Inneren der Maske per Saugnapf befestigt, ohne Werkzeug und ohne Klebstoff.

Worauf sollte ich achten, wenn mein Kind zum ersten Mal schnorchelt?

Laut der DLRG sollten Kinder im Wasser stets beaufsichtigt werden. Beginne am besten im flachen Wasser oder im Pool, damit sich dein Kind in Ruhe an die Maske gewöhnen kann. Durch das Full Face Design kann dein Kind ganz normal durch Mund und Nase atmen, was den Einstieg deutlich erleichtert.
